United Methodist Women is a group of women whose official purpose is "to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church." (The Book of Discipline, 2000) Here at Grace, we are women of various ages and backgrounds looking to grow spiritually, to help others in need through our volunteer efforts, and to build relationships with other women in our congregation. Throughout the year, we sponsor a number of activities, including special women's retreats, church-wide yard sales, and the Un-Trim-a-Tree project, which provides Christmas gifts to local children in need. In addition, we have four circles, or small groups, that meet monthly. Please join us for a circle meeting, or one of our quarterly general meetings.

Serendipity: meets every second Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.(Serendipity Circle leader: Melanie Wagner)
The Women's Spirituality Group: meets the second Saturday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the church. The group is open to every woman interested in spiritual growth and community building. For more information, please contact Nancy Miller

The Single Mom's Experience: meets every Wednesday night in room 014, 7-8 p.m. We are studying "Worn out Women", a book that highlights how we have to take time to feed our soul in order to keep doing all that we must do for others. If you are a single mother looking for some friends to share, open up, pray for one another, please join us for this hour every week. Free babysitting available! Please contact Debbi Cali
