Adult Sunday School

Currently, Grace offers two in-person Adult Sunday School classes. Take a look below for more info.

The Progressive Sunday School class, led by Rev. Clayton Childers, meets at 9:30am in Room 202. The class studies a variety of topics to learn and grow in faith together.

The Applied Life Adult Sunday School group at Grace meets at 9:45am in the Community Room. (This group will take a summer break beginning June 12.)

The group (of between 15 to 25 individuals) undertakes studies by well-known religious authors such as Adam Hamilton, Max Lucado, James Moore, Ray Vander Laan, Craig C. Hill, Philip Yancey, and other Biblical scholars.

Each Sunday’s session includes a video presentation, and read-ahead written material by religious authors as mentioned above along with the opportunity for class members to share their thoughts and experiences relating to the particular topic under study.

The purpose of the class is to bring the teaching of the scriptures into focus for our direction and application to our daily lives. And to foster a sense of community among fellow Christians within the study group and with the congregation at Grace as we all strive to minister to the neighborhood in which we live and beyond.

The group welcomes new members as we help each other grow and mature as followers of Jesus.
