Boy Scout Apple Butter

Troop 670 Apple Butter – See How it’s Made!

Stop by for a tour of the Apple Butter making process by Boy Scout Troop 670!The process takes three days, and Sunday is the best time to see the Scouts in action!

Come by before or after worship on October 11 to watch the Scouts stir, add their secret ingredients, taste test, and—hopefully before noon—begin the canning process. It’s an intricate and very cool hands-on tradition to see!

Very fresh apple butter, sealed in very hot jars, will be available for purchase late Sunday afternoon.

Apple butter will also be available for purchase from the Scouts before and after each worship service on October 18 and 25. Jars are $10 each.

You may pre-order apple butter using the links below (paper forms are also available in the church office – just fill out and drop in the office or offering plate.)
