Thank you for your thoughtful and generous giving to Grace UMC.

Your gifts help support the important mission and ministry of the church in our community and beyond!

Giving Tuesday 2025

We are excited to participate in #GivingTuesday once again this year. It’s a movement to include supporting Grace’s mission and ministry and others as a way of enjoying the Thanksgiving weekend and the start of Advent.

Giving at this time of year helps real people experience real grace through the mission and ministry of Grace UMC.

  • “Here” – Providing Manassas a safe and accessible place for over 100 church and community ministries.
  • “There” – Funding hurricane relief and for those affected by the government shutdown.
  • “And Everywhere” – Sending out hundreds of people from every generation to work for the good of others every Sunday.

Engage With Grace

The United Methodist Church emphasizes five main ways we engage individually and as a church: our Prayers, our Presence, our Gifts, our Service, and our Witness.

This season we’re inviting you to consider all five of these, and prayerfully ask, “With the help of God, how will I engage with Grace in the 2025-2026 ministry year?”

Pentecost Offering

Pentecost Offering

In honor of Pentecost, Grace customarily takes up a special offering to support church members of all ages who will be sent out in Christian mission.

We do it on Pentecost to commemorate the gospel being sent out through the church by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We invite you to plan on making a second offering on or near Pentecost 2025 (June 8). You can do so by making a note on your check, envelope, or online gift that this gift is for “Pentecost.” Thank you for your generosity in supporting Grace in Mission in the next year.

Lighting the Way (LTW) Final Update

In 2019, we opened our addition and launched a 5-year campaign to continue funding it. As we enter the last 6 months before refinancing, we celebrate that our current balance is under $700,000!

With your help, we routinely make extra principal payments in an effort to eliminate all or as much of this debt as possible by the end of 2024. Thank you!

Grace takes a special offering on Christmas Eve every year to be given away in Jesus’ name in order to make an impact in our community and world.

This year we feel called to impact medical debt. Working with an organization called RIP Medical Debt, Grace will be making a gift that RIP Medical Debt will multiply by 100. Grace has already pledged $10,000 which will impact $1 million in debt. What’s more, all of that will impact medical debt for Virginians in our very own state.

Your Christmas Eve Offering will deepen our impact even further. We invite you to join us on Christmas Eve and to plan on participating in our Christmas Eve offering.
