Welcoming New Pastoral Leadership
As part of the United Methodist Church, pastors are prayerfully appointed to serve congregations for seasons of ministry. Grace is excited to welcome new pastors this summer.
Meet Rev. Dan Jinhyo Kim (Pastor Dan) whose passion for ministry is worship, discipleship, and helping develop a deeper and richer spirituality. Pastor Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech, Master of Divinity from Boston University, and Master of Theology from Boston College. He and his wife, Esther have been married for 17 wonderful years, and are blessed with two children, Micah and Moriah. Pastor Dan’s appointment as Lead Pastor at Grace began July 1, 2026.
Rev. Elizabeth Jackson Snader (Pastor Liz) is coming to Grace from Fredericksburg with her husband Eric and their son Jackson. Liz is currently a Chaplain Resident at Mary Washington Hospital and previously served as the Campus Minister for the Campus Christian Community at the University of Mary Washington. Pastor Liz will be ordained this summer as a Deacon in the VAUMC. Pastor Liz will begin her ministry at Grace as Associate Pastor on September 21, 2026. She is very excited to meet you all and for her and her family to experience Grace!
