Cindy grew up in Annandale, VA, but has lived in Bristow with her husband, Stephen, since 1998. After graduating from Roanoke College with a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Sociology, Cindy taught high school math and coached several high school sports. She took time off from teaching to be a stay-at-home mom with her two children. Cindy rang handbells for many years (and directed, too) as well as sang in church choirs. Music has always been her favorite hobby. Outside of church, Cindy enjoys camping, playing with her two big dogs, attending multiple concerts & shows that her children participate in, watching basketball, and reading.
Fun fact: Cindy is slightly competitive. She was a tri-sport athlete in high school and went on to play field hockey in college. But most importantly, she is the reigning watermelon spitting champion of the Grace UMC Staff.
