Cindy Martin

Cindy grew up in Annandale, VA, but has lived in Bristow with her husband, Stephen, since 1998. After graduating from Roanoke College with a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Sociology, Cindy taught high school math and coached several high school sports. She took time off from teaching to be a stay-at-home mom with her two children. Cindy directs three handbell choirs at her church which she especially loves because her entire family rings bells. Outside of church, Cindy enjoys camping, playing with her two big dogs, attending multiple concerts & shows that her children participate in, watching basketball, and reading.
Fun fact: In high school, Cindy was known for coming straight from basketball games and changing into her formal handbell uniform in the car while her mom raced her to handbell concerts (including performances at the Kennedy Center, Constitution Hall, and the White House). This is where Cindy learned that baby powder and deodorant were her friends.
