February 19, 2023 – Transfiguration Sunday is the last Sunday after Epiphany and before the season of Lent begins. The story of the Transfiguration is when Jesus was transfigured (shining like lightening!) with Moses and Elijah on either side of him. The disciples that saw this were now “in on it.” They knew Jesus was the Messiah, on them the Light had shined! Come join us on this feast day; but you may want to wear your sunglasses, this light shines bright!
