March 12, 2023 – Psalm 95 is one customarily prayed in the morning, an invitation to worship God. But often the reading stops by the 7th verse. After the 7th verse is where the good stuff is. The invitation to “Come, and worship the Lord,” is an invitation to a resistant and stiff-necked people, as if God is saying “Enough already! Stop what you’re doing, drop to the ground, and come be with me.”
