We welcome you to worship at all of our times of worship–8:25am, 9:45am and 11:00am–and we hope that you’ll come celebrate God’s love and be a part of what God is doing in the world! Each worship service lasts about an hour. We encourage you to come as you are!
We’d love to have you join us for worship and other Grace activities. When arriving for worship for the first time, please be sure to stop by the welcome table, located just inside the entry doors to the narthex (lobby) area. There you can find someone before morning services who can answer your questions and provide more information about how to get connected at Grace.
Sunday Mornings at 8:25am and 11:00am
These are traditional worship services with a rotating schedule of musical leadership including the Chancel Choir, the Wesley Singers youth choir, the Woodwind and Brass ensembles, the children’s Asbury singing and ringing choirs, the Treble Ensemble and the Parrish Bells and GosBells handbell choirs. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month. Nursery care is available during both services for children who were not yet three as of September 30 of the current school year. The 11:00 service offers special children’s worship activities: Praise and Play for ages 3-5 but not yet in Kindergarten, on all but the first Sundays, when children are invited to participate in Holy Communion with their families. See more about these Children’s Church programs below.
Thrive at 9:45am
Thrive is a worship service offering a blended, informal service featuring blended music and lasts about 45 minutes.
OPEN to ALL!
Praise-N-Play (PNP) is our Children’s Church program at 11:00 for all children ages three, four and five. To participate, children must have turned three by September 30 of the current school year, but not yet be in Kindergarten. During the hymn following Children’s Time, parents escort their children to meet the PNP leaders in Room 3 for songs, crafts and Bible stories.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What should I wear? At every time of worship, people are dressed all kinds of ways–we welcome everyone as they are! In the mornings, you will find people in suits and dresses as well as khakis and jeans.
- Do I need to bring anything? You won’t need to bring your own Bible, although you’re welcome to do so, but there are pew Bibles and we project the scripture up on the screens as well. We hope that you’ll be blessed by being in God’s presence during worship.
- What about the kids? Children are always welcome, and there is a nursery for children two and under if moms and dads prefer it. There are also some rocking chairs and a great hallway just outside the worship sanctuary where you can still hear the service even if a child needs some special soothing or space to move around!
