Christmas

The 3pm and 5pm services will be streamed live on Facebook and here on the website. Video clips from these online services will remain available outside of those times as well, on the website and Grace YouTube channel.

The 8pm service is an in-person, drive-in, outdoor service at Grace church. See below for more info!

  3. Guests will be greeted and then will park themselves in every other space (leaving a space in between cars).
  4. You can listen to the entire service through your car radio.
  5. Everyone must stay in their car for the duration of the service.
  6. No bathroom access will be available.
  7. Pastors will lead a 45 minute worship service from the patio near the Grace Bell including scripture, a message, prayer, and singing Silent Night.

Christmas offering

Christmas Offering 2020

Thank you for your generous donations to the Christmas Offering this year! Donations will be divided among these three organizations:

  1. Back Pack Snack Attack – supplemental food distributed through area school programs.
  2. Honduras HIBS School – helping the school recover from COVID and recent catastrophic storms.
  3. Grace Children’s Learning Center – helping the church’s Preschool and Kindergarten be ready to welcome students and teachers back safely this summer (COVID-based infrastructure modifications and start-up costs for a new program year).

This Blue Christmas service seeks to honor the experience of each of us before God and offers hope in the midst of the 2020 Advent and Christmas Season. The readings and music are intended to encourage each of us to turn to God with hope, trusting in God’s promise that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. As you watch and listen, you may wish to light a candle, to sing along, or to pause along the way to allow yourself time to be present to those things you are feeling. This version of the service has been recorded on Zoom and is led by Sylvia Bynum, Clayton Childers, Denise Childers, and MiIton Rodgers.

An Advent Like No Other

So often we think of the other as the other, by Christmas Eve, we want to get to the place where there is no other; love carries all. No exclusion. No one is left out. Each Sunday’s sermon in Advent will include the best gift we get from God as we wait for the celebration of Christmas.
