Everyone is welcome at all of our times of worship–8:25am, 9:45am, and 11:00am–and we hope that you’ll come celebrate God’s love and be a part of what God is doing in the world!  Each worship service lasts about 45-60 minutes.

Sunday Mornings at 8:25 am and 11:00 am

These are traditional worship services with a rotating schedule of musical leadership including the Chancel Choir, the Wesley Singers youth choir, the Woodwind and Brass ensembles, the children’s Asbury singing and ringing choirs, the Treble Ensemble and the Parrish Bells and GosBells handbell choirs.  Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month.  Nursery care is available during both services for children who were not yet three as of September 30 of the current school year.  The 11:00 service offers special children’s worship activities: Praise and Play for ages 3-5 but not yet in Kindergarten, and JAM (Jesus and Me) for Kindergarten through Third Grade – on all but the first Sundays, when children are invited to participate in Holy Communion with their families.  See more about these Children’s Church programs below.

Thrive at 9:45 am

This service offers a blended, informal worship featuring blended music and lasts about 45 minutes. Continued fellowship is available after the service at our coffee bar in the Narthex.

Children’s Church

Praise-N-Play (PNP) is our Children’s Church program at 11:00 am for all children ages three, four and five. To participate, children must have turned three by September 30 of the current school year, but not yet be in Kindergarten. During the hymn following Children’s Time, parents escort their children to meet the PNP leaders in Room 5 for songs, crafts and Bible stories.

Jesus and Me (JAM) is our Children’s Church program at 11:00 am for all children in grades K-3. We learn about Worship, the Bible, Jesus, God and other great stuff in fun, new ways like… music, drama & puppets! JAM meets most Sundays (except for Communion Sundays) from mid-September to mid-June. Join the JAM leader at the back of the sanctuary after Children’s Time and we’ll move to the Fellowship Hall together. Come JAM with us!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What should I wear? At every time of worship, people are dressed all kinds of ways–we welcome everyone as they are!   You will find people in suits and dresses as well as khakis and jeans.  All are welcome!
  • Do I need to bring anything? You won’t need to bring your own Bible, although you’re welcome to do so, but there are pew Bibles and we project the scripture up on the screens as well.  We hope that you’ll share your name and address with us so that we can know that you were a guest, but otherwise, we simply hope that you’ll be blessed by being in God’s presence during worship.
  • What about the kids? Children are always welcome and there’s a nursery for children two and under if parents prefer.  There are also some rocking chairs and a great hallway just outside the worship sanctuary where you can still hear the service even if a child needs some special soothing or space to move around!  Note that there are particular activities available for children during the 11:00 am worship service.
